this is common problem and if is not to late you can change hexagon key and pump will drive even few years but is hex key start slipping then you may need only change balance shaft with bigger size 8mm which we are selling too we also doing instalation recovery and we have all oil pumps and turbochargers for all vags in the stock just ask please or contact.
On the one from the pictures you can see original hexagon key and one from china which I order to check quality and hardnes of the material. Original hexagon key is much harder.

If you have already circle whole inside balance shaft also we have bigger 8mm kits with shaft and key kit which never let youi downt but his is on my other auctions.
